2006.03.19 Five Winds - cross country skiing

This was the day of the annual Five Winds weiner roast. We skiied from Twelve Mile Bay Road and ended up by Galla Lake. We had about 2 cm. of snow on top of a hard crust. For me it was Blue Extra wax, with Purple later in the day. Two of the highlights were seeing deer in the woods (see the photo below) and what may have been bobcat tracks.

I’ve gathered a number of photos into a slide show that you can download and view. The file size is 2.2 MB. You will need Adobe Reader (a free download) to play the slide show.  To download and view the slide show, right-click here and choose Save Target As. For more information on this click here.
